Below are some approaches to reduce the amount of time it takes for applications to build on CPaaS.

Precompile Assets

If possible, precompiling assets and uploading them to a service like S3 prior to pushing code to the Datica build process can massively reduce the time it takes for an application to be built.

Implement CI/CD Pipelines

Datica builds code services on CPaaS using shared infrastructure, so splitting any steps in your application build and deployment process out to separate steps that are not specifically required for building the application will give you better capabilities to control the resources and workflow that are specific to your application.

Reduce Overall Dependency Size

Another potential way to reduce build time is to review the dependencies your application is installing to ensure that only libraries that are necessary for your application to build and run are being installed. Reviewing dependencies is also very important from a security perspective.
